The App Works Like This...
Drunk Lockout is very simple at its core,
but the potential within the application is amazing.
People will always, ALWAYS drink and get drunk. People will always, ALWAYS do stupid things drinking and the opportunity with technology increases that ten fold.
How can you prevent that? Self control haha... with five shots of tequila coursing through your veins try again. You need all the help you can get. Something not dependent on your friend to stop you from calling, texting the ex, because there too busy drinking themselves.
This is where Drunk Lockout comes into play, it's a set of Drunk Safety Features to steer your night out.
It prevents you from calling, texting and using a variety of social media to individual contacts on your iOS or Android smartphones.
HOW THIS HAPPENS...
The Promo Video spells this all out...with two modes:
Total Lockout Mode
Very straight forward, it's for the drunk that knows they will get stupid and prefer not to text the ex-girlfriend or call that jerk boss.
How it works...
- Pick contacts
- Choose lockout time (1, 3, 6, 9, 12, and 24 hours / Also app selected time)
- Start app...Contacts locked out...Begin Drinking
Very simple, even for someone already drunk
Drunk Chance Mode
Virtually the same... except this mode gives the user a choice as to how many trivia questions they want to answer correctly or how many games they want to win.
You get a set amount of "Drunk Chances" depending on the time period the user chooses.
If the user is drunk smart enough or drunk skilled enough to answer the right amount of questions or win enough games... They can unlock that contact early.
At that point they might have enough liquid courage to call, text, Facebook, Snapchat what have you the contact with five shots of tequila drunk genius.
They might lose and save themselves embarrassment because that contact will still be locked out. BUT it's fun to have that chance.

Advertising, Advertising, and More Advertising Within App
DRUNK LOCKOUT BAKED IN ADVERTISING....
Gives the app HUGE advertising and promotional capability, it's BAKED in to the core functionality.
It all revolves around Drunk Chance Mode.
As an example, if a user chooses ten contacts to lockout with three drunk chances each. THAT IS 30 OPPORTUNITIES for a variety of industry to advertise or promote within the app.
Answer the right amount of trivia correctly or play enough games to 100% accuracy and THERE IS NOT REASON why something like earn 50% of a Amazon Prime Membership or buy two for one shoes on Zappos.com can't be an option!
The app rewards, advertising or promotions can be tailored to a specific location or can be general for a wide berth of venues. The opportunity is there to shape the experience of the user in a certain city.
WHAT ELSE CAN DRUNK LOCKOUT EARN FROM...
Since the premise of Drunk Chance Mode is to play trivia or games to potentially unlock contacts early, the trivia and games can be provided by the gaming industry.
King and Supercell makers of Candy Crush and Clash of Clans can easily have these games involved with the users experience and of course they will pay for that to happy for the upped exposure of the product.

Advanced Features You Say...
YOU SAY THERE’S MORE???
Obviously being drunk impairs your ability to drive. Drunk Lockout will be a central point for a drunks night, so why not includes Uber, Lyft or the local taxi service options... Oh wait it does.
And AGAIN, integration of those services can produce revenue from being used in Drunk Lockout.
Those services can pay for exposure to where, the service paying the most can be offered to the user first as a SAFE WAY to get home.
WHERE IS HE? HE WAS AT THE BAR WITH US A SECOND AGO?
That line has said by millions of drunk groups out on the town... who lose a wandering drunk friend. Again this app has the solution. A group of friends using Drunk Lockout will have the ability use a GPS feature to hunt down that lost drunk friend that went left when everyone else went right.

SUCCESS IN NOT
But how about Las Vegas?
The drunk capital of the world, where the focus is living sin in Sin City.
It almost goes without saying how successful an app concept like Drunk Lockout would be in Vegas. Over 41 million people visit this beautiful city every year.
The range of industries that would be able to take advantage of the advertising opportunities are PLENTIFUL to say the least.
An app that targets a genre of people (drinking and loose) in Las Vegas? The average Joe can see the success in that. No one app has really managed to focus on that target market with the way Drunk Lockout could.
The amount of naughty things people do in Vegas that end up being sent all over on smart phones is a year round occurrences. Even if a meager 5% of those 41 million downloaded the app that's over 2 million, AND THAT'S JUST APP SALES! Watch the video to see the details of how much adverting would add to that (PROMO VIDEO LINK)
New Orleans? I think so!
The last tally from the cities convention and visitors bureau brought 9.52 million tourists to the city totaling over 6.81 billion in revenue
Do I need to spell it out? Alright I will...Mardi Gras.
How many girls gone wild and bro moments could be prevented from making there way home to the family via our smart phones with this app?
Mardi Gras alone account for over a billion in revenue for the city.
App sales alone are a lucrative prospect, but something better than that is available.
How many business's could be linked to Mardi Gras through the app for advertising?
Bars, restaurants, hotels and still the involvement of non-native companies would be ever present as an option ... it's only bounded by your imagination.

The city that never sleeps...New York
It may not be the Vegas of party cites but it sure is close!
Bar after bar, club after club line the beautiful streets of New York and just like Vegas people go to have a great time...those great times don't need to be ruined by when Stephanie gets a little to toasted on Appletinis and want to call Greg her ex.
What Stephanie needs is a drunk safety app like Drunk Lockout to steer her night out.
What Stephanie needs is Drunk Chances to get discounts, or offers to shop at all of the vast selections of shops and stores in New York!
Bottom Line...this app concept has a template that can fit and mold to a VARIETY of cities not just in the states but all over the world for that matter, tailoring the app experience with advertising for that area or have that and the wide selection of online retailers and other interested companies to be involved!
Timing...Drunk Lockout has it.
Don't believe the world is ready for Drunk Lockout?
Watch this video from Bill Gross's 2015 TED speech on The Single Biggest Reason Startups Succeed.
Bill states to ask...Timing, is the world ready for it? Does the customer need education of the idea, is it just right or is there too many competitors?
The Drunk Lockout concept is something the culture has been waiting for and definitely are ready for a "face" of an app like this... nothing really exists.
Drunk Lockout can be that "face", just like youTube is the face of online videos. The customer is ready and anytime for this concept is the right time.
